Chandler Hill Vineyards

I should have taken more pictures. 1st service and staff was excellent as was the food. Cheeses plate and burgers cooked to perfection. If you haven’t done the wine tasting you really need too. Scott did a fantastic job with the different wines. Not only was the tour educational it was a really great way to spend a cold January Saturday drinking wine. Seriously Scott does a fantastic job with his knowledge of wine the industry & his sense of humor. It’s really an awesome experience.

This Vineyard dominate in regard to service and ambience. They fill the oversized dog friendly deck overlooking a breathtaking vista with warmers in the winter and fans in the summer. With live music for the dinner seating on Wednesday nights Chandler Hill makes for a great mid week escape. Hours are limited to 11 AM to 5 PM during the week with the exception of the Wednesday night dinner seating. They have spectacular cabanas for larger parties that are available for reservation with full service on the weekends. The wait staff is consistently friendly and knowledgeable. I have grown to love Liz, Derek, and Tommy. The menu is much bigger than any other Missouri winery I have visited, so I recommend including lunch for this winery excursion. I love the antipasto salad with grilled salmon. I also love the grilled fish tacos. They have local beers on tap by Perennials artisan ales and an extensive wine menu including other vineyards with whom they partner in Oregon and California. Chandler him makes a great romantic lunch or hosts incredible events in the vineyard. Highly recommend joining the wine club!

Absolutely stunning view, so far it's one of the best views at a winerie I've seen. Lots of outdoor covered seating. Seating is up on a hillside and in the distance you look upon more rolling hills, pictures do not do it justice. I had the fish tacos with fries for lunch, they were very tasty and filling. Great place to enjoy a beautiful day. Recommend visiting this cute quaint little town.

Went for the champagne night, loved each of the 5 courses. Hands down favorite was the goat cheese tartlet! Rarely drink, but it was awesome trying different types of wine. Only opportunity I can think of is allotting another 30 minutes to an hour for the night because 5 courses that were very rich in under 2 hours was a little too fast!

Visited Chandler Hill Vineyards today with family and friends for my birthday. We rented a large cabana from 11-5. The place was packed so glad we had the cabana especially for the shade and breeze. Brunch menu was delicious. No one was disappointed about food. Wine selection and cocktail selection was very limited. I found one sweet red on the menu and it was delicious but you couldn’t buy it by the bottle only a $15 glass. That was very disappointing. There was a live band which was nice. Our server was very nice however service was extremely slow and I am guessing they must be short on staff. I also wondered if our server had tables upstairs as well which made service slow. We had a party of 14 and everyone was dissatisfied with how slow Service was. We were hunting our server down to order food and drinks the entire time. That’s the biggest complaint. Hopefully when I return with a small group, service will not be as slow. Due to the slow service at the cabanas I would not recommend reserving one. Just walk in and get a table because the cabana is too much money to have slow service. Our party paid $250 rental deposit and spent over $700 on food. Had the service been faster the bill would’ve been higher. All in all beautiful views, great food, nice staff, good time with family and friends.

Such a great place! We had our wedding here in early November, and Brooke and Alyssa were absolutely incredible in helping us coordinate and plan everything. The venue was absolutely beautiful, and had a lot of decorations and options available on-hand that we were able to use. Everyone really liked the food and wine too, and we'll definitely be back for many casual visits. Our ceremony and reception were absolutely perfect thanks to them!

One of the best wineries St. Louis countryside has to offer. Beautiful view over the ponds and rolling hills, and very large patio to hold the busy crowd during nice enough weather. Good selection of wine, appetizers, and entrees. It is definitely more on the high end side, and they are known for doing wedding and other events. I hear they do have a wine club with special rewards too!
